Key Responsibilities:
• Direct the operation of cranes and other heavy machinery using hand signals and radio communication to ensure safe handling of materials.
• Maintain constant communication with crane operators and lorry drivers during lifting and loading operations.
• Conduct routine checks on lifting equipment and machinery to ensure their safety and functionality.
• Enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols on site.
• Manage the log of operations and report any incidents or irregularities to site management.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:
• Valid CPCS Banksman Ticket or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a similar role within the construction or related industry.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations pertinent to construction sites.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Vigilant, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to react quickly to changing situations.
• Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions.
