About the Role:
As a Permanent Buyer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth procurement of materials and services essential for our client's dry lining projects. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining the high standards and efficiency that our client is renowned for in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sourcing and purchasing materials in line with project requirements
• Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best deals
• Managing supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance
• Monitoring market trends and identifying cost-saving opportunities
• Collaborating with project managers to forecast material needs
• Maintaining accurate records of purchases and inventory levels
About You:
• Proven experience as a Buyer within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on dry lining
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
• A team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving
