Located in the vibrant and strategically positioned city of Milton Keynes, our client is at the forefront of their industry, offering innovative solutions and a dynamic working environment.

The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CAD Technician to become an integral part of our clients team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of hands-on experience and possess comprehensive knowledge of CAD software and applications, including AutoCAD, XP Site3D, Vehicle Tracking, Micro-Drainage, and Office Software.

Key Responsibilities
• Create detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, dies/tools, and controls, using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) software.
• Coordinate with and consult other workers to design, lay out, or detail components and systems and to resolve design or other problems.
• Review and analyse specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed.
• Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems.
• Checking and verifying design drawings to conform to specifications and design data.

Qualifications and Skills
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CAD Technician.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, XP Site3D, Vehicle Tracking, and Micro-Drainage.
• Familiarity with Office Software and the ability to integrate work across multiple platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing requirements.
• A degree or certification in a relevant field is preferred.
