About our Client
My client has been established in the roofing and cladding sector for over 50 years. They work nationwide from their regional offices. They mainly work on refurb projects that could be flat roofing or sheeting and cladding. Now because they are so busy they are looking to add a Contracts Manager to their operations team in the North West.

About the Role
• Record start date of a project
• Check site access, storage, mechanical hoisting power and work areas are productively available
• Meet the trade team with labour order and drawings
• Record and photograph delays, variations and completed works.
• Check works against the programme and if necessary apply for extension or record “time at large”
• Site meetings – book deliveries and crane times
• Secure signed day works within 7 days of undertaking
• Secure written site instructions
• Record the practical completion date
• As a Contracts Manager, you will be expected to oversee projects from the start through to completion, ensuring that work is completed on time and within its budget.
• You will be the first point of contact for clients, site managers and sub-contractors for as long as the contract lasts.
• Health and safety issues will be a top priority in this role, as will managing client expectations.
• You will also be responsible for agreeing on extra work to be done on a contract and helping to resolve any disputes which come up.

About the Candidate
• High level of technical competency.
• Must come from a curtain walling background
• Have good attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• At least 5 years Contracts Management experience
