Contracts Manager - Permanent Opportunity
Keyman is thrilled to announce a premier job opportunity on behalf of our esteemed client, a leader in the construction and management of Multi-Use Games Areas (MUGAs) and Playzones. With an expanding portfolio of projects, our client is in search of a dedicated Contracts Manager to oversee the successful delivery of 20 MUGAs predominantly located in and around London (80%) with the remaining projects scattered around St Austell, Plymouth, Wash, and Wantage.
Role Overview:
As a Contracts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and completion of multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This position requires a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for excellence in the public and private leisure facilities sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee the contract lifecycle for multiple projects, from initial planning through to completion.
• Liaise closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards across all sites.
• Monitor project progress against timelines and budgets, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or similar role within the construction or leisure facilities sector.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage relationships at all levels.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
• Flexibility to travel extensively, particularly within the London area and occasionally to St Austell, Plymouth, Wash, and Wantage.
• Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field are desirable.
