Keyman Personnel, a specialist white collar recruitment business, is seeking a Design Manager for a construction company in [insert location]. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the design process from start to finish, ensuring that all designs are of a high quality, comply with relevant regulations and standards, and meet the requirements of the client.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the design process from conception to completion, ensuring that all designs are of a high standard and meet the requirements of the client
Liaise with the client, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all design requirements are met
Review and approve design drawings and specifications
Ensure that all designs comply with relevant regulations and standards
Manage a team of designers and provide guidance and support as required
Attend meetings with the client and other stakeholders to provide updates on the design process
Work closely with the project manager to ensure that the design process is integrated into the overall project plan
Manage the budget for the design process
Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a design manager in the construction industry
Experience managing a team of designers
Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong attention to detail
Experience with AutoCAD and other design software
