About the Role:
Keyman Personnel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facades Estimator to join our leading client’s team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to a variety of high-profile projects involving all types of facades.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for all types of facade projects, including cladding, curtain walling, glazing, and more
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to compile comprehensive cost estimates
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and ensure competitive pricing
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to develop value engineering solutions
• Monitor and review ongoing projects to update estimates and ensure cost control
• Provide detailed reports and presentations to senior management and clients
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and advancements in facade technology
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Facades Estimator within the construction industry
• Extensive knowledge of all types of facades and associated materials
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant qualifications in construction, quantity surveying, or a related field
