We are currently recruiting for a Estimator, you would need to come from a Groundwork/Civils background.
Key Responsibilities:
Estimation: Prepare precise cost estimates, considering materials, labour, and equipment costs.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information for accurate estimations.
Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their requirements and provide transparent and detailed cost breakdowns.
Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, material costs, and market fluctuations to ensure competitive and realistic estimates.
Budget Management: Collaborate with the finance team to ensure projects are executed within budgetary constraints.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience as an Estimator, with expertise in groundworks.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of relevant processes, materials, and industry standards.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in estimating software, strong command of Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with industry-specific tools.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey
complex information clearly.
