Job Description
Keyman Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a leading loft and building company for an experienced Foreman to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of building projects, including loft conversions, extensions, and renovations, while leading a skilled team.
Role Overview:
As a Foreman, you will be responsible for managing on-site operations, coordinating tradespeople, and ensuring that all work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards. You will play a key role in driving the success of each project, overseeing all aspects of the build process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage day-to-day operations on-site, including loft conversions, extensions, and building refurbishments.
• Coordinate and supervise tradespeople, subcontractors, and site staff to ensure smooth workflow.
• Monitor project timelines and quality, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain safety compliance and address any issues promptly.
• Liaise with project managers, clients, and suppliers to ensure project specifications are met.
• Maintain accurate site records, including site diaries, progress reports, and health and safety documentation.
• Resolve on-site challenges efficiently to keep projects on schedule.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Foreman within the building or loft conversion sector.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and teams.
• Excellent knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and health and safety requirements.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, site teams, and project managers.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Valid CSCS card and First Aid certification.
