About Us: Keyman Personnel is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading client in the construction industry. We are seeking an experienced General Foreman to join their team on a freelance basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable company on a variety of high-profile projects.
Role Overview: As a General Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on site, ensuring that all work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest standard. You will manage and coordinate site teams, liaise with clients, and work closely with the Site Manager to deliver successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervising and coordinating site activities to ensure work is carried out efficiently and safely.
• Leading and managing site teams, including subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to project plans and safety regulations.
• Monitoring progress against project schedules, identifying and addressing any issues that may cause delays.
• Ensuring quality standards are met and maintained throughout the project.
• Maintaining clear communication with the Site Manager and other key stakeholders.
• Overseeing the implementation of health and safety policies on site.
• Conducting site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a General Foreman in the construction industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• CSCS card and other relevant certifications are desirable.
