Role Summary:
As a Freelance Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all logistics operations, ensuring the seamless movement of materials from suppliers to site. Your expertise will play a crucial role in the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials, directly impacting the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement logistical strategies, optimising processes for efficiency and reliability.
• Coordinate the entire supply chain, from order placement with suppliers to the delivery of materials on site.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure materials are available when needed, minimising project delays.
• Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and site managers to ensure smooth operations.
• Oversee the transportation of materials, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Implement and maintain logistics management software and systems for better tracking and reporting.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Logistics Manager, preferably within the construction or facade industry.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the skill to negotiate and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of logistics software or transport management systems.
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing project needs.
• Relevant qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field are desirable.
