About Us:
Keyman Personnel is seeking a skilled Freelance Managing Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a renowned client, an expert in remediation cladding projects. Our client is a leader in the industry, dedicated to delivering high-quality services and innovative solutions to complex cladding remediation challenges.

Role Overview:
As a Freelance Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all financial aspects of our client's remediation cladding projects. Your expertise will ensure that projects are completed within budget, on time, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee all quantity surveying activities for remediation cladding projects.
• Prepare and analyse cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
• Conduct detailed cost planning and control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Negotiate contracts and manage subcontractor relationships.
• Assess and manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Provide expert advice on commercial and contractual matters.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Proven experience as a Managing Quantity Surveyor, preferably in remediation cladding or a related sector.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, costs, and financial management.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Professional membership (e.g., RICS) is highly desirable.
