Job Title: Project Manager - Construction (Main Contractor Background)

Keyman Personnel, a specialist white collar recruitment business, is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager with a Main Contractor Background for a permanent position with a reputable construction company. We are looking for a highly skilled individual who can effectively lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities:

Take ownership of assigned construction projects, ensuring successful project delivery within budget, schedule, and quality parameters.
Develop and maintain project plans, including resource allocation, cost estimation, and risk assessment.
Coordinate and collaborate with key stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor and control project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and specifications.
Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, implementing appropriate corrective actions as necessary.
Conduct regular site visits to oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
Manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost control measures are in place.
Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management, highlighting key milestones, risks, and performance indicators.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a strong background in working with main contractors.
In-depth knowledge of construction project management principles, practices, and methodologies.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Sound financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, cost control, and contract management.
Proficient in project management software and tools.
Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
