Role Overview:

As the Project Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in our client's Landscaping projects. You will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of the assigned projects, ensuring they are completed within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for Landscaping projects.
Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective cost management throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct comprehensive cost analysis and value engineering to identify opportunities for cost-saving measures.
Procure and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring competitive pricing and adherence to project specifications.
Monitor project expenses and prepare regular cost reports for management review.
Oversee the administration of contracts, change orders, and payment processes.
Handle any contractual disputes or claims in a fair and efficient manner.
Comply with all relevant regulations and standards, ensuring legal and contractual compliance.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the Landscaping or Construction industry.
A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
Strong knowledge of construction costs, contracts, and procurement processes.
Proficiency in using industry-standard software for cost estimating and project management.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
A proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS) is desirable but not essential.
