Keyman Personnel, your trusted recruitment partner, is currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join our client - a market-leading civil engineering groundworks company in the UK. About the Role
As a Freelance Quantity Surveyor, you will be primarily responsible for managing all costs related to civil engineering and building projects. This is a key role that ensures our client's projects are completed on budget and to the highest standard.

Your Duties Will Include
• Budget preparation, cost control and financial reporting
• Conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments
• Negotiating and drawing up bids for tenders
• Managing contracts to ensure that projects stay within agreed costs
• Assessing and managing commercial risks in the projects

Essential Qualifications and Skills
• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the civil engineering/groundworks sector
• Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or working towards it
• Excellent analytical, organisational and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in relevant software packages
