Job Title: Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Location: South of England (with some remote work)

Salary: Up to £45k (depending on experience within the water sector)

We are currently working with a rapidly growing construction company focused on the water sector. The company is well-resourced, with projects lined up for the next 5 years, and is offering an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

Responsibilities:

Assisting with all aspects of quantity surveying
Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the company’s procedures and standards
Liaising with the client, contractors and other stakeholders
Preparing cost reports and budgets
Contributing to the preparation of tender documentation
Assisting with project planning and control
Requirements:

Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
Experience within the water sector would be highly advantageous
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly motivated and able to work independently
Willingness to travel to different project locations across the UK
Excellent attention to detail
