Role Overview:
As a Freelance Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial and contractual management of projects is handled with the utmost precision and professionalism. Your expertise will directly contribute to the successful execution and completion of high-end fit-out projects, working closely with project teams to ensure all financial aspects are managed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare cost plans, estimates, and budgets for fit-out projects, ensuring all financial information is accurate and up to date.
• Conduct contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors, ensuring all contractual terms are favourable and protect the interests of the company.
• Manage and monitor project costs from initiation to completion, including tracking variations, managing invoices, and ensuring the project remains within budget.
• Provide regular financial reports to project managers and senior management, offering insights and strategies to improve cost efficiency.
• Work closely with project teams to ensure contractual obligations are met and advise on any commercial risks or opportunities.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with specific expertise in the fit-out sector.
• Excellent knowledge of construction processes and legal guidelines, with a strong emphasis on fit-out projects.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools, with strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, capable of effectively managing relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
• A relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
