Role and Responsibilities:

As a Quantity Surveyor at Keyman Personnel, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our civils, infrastructure, and groundworks projects. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Preparing cost estimates and budgets for projects, ensuring accuracy and cost-effectiveness.
Conducting thorough cost analysis, identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.
Managing subcontractor accounts, valuations, and payments.
Monitoring project progress and variations, keeping financial records up-to-date.
Collaborating with project teams to ensure adherence to budgets and financial targets.
Assisting in the preparation of contract documents and agreements.
Conducting regular site visits to assess progress and financial implications.
Providing support in claims management and dispute resolution.
Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
Proven experience in Quantity Surveying within the civils, infrastructure, and groundworks sector in the UK.
Strong knowledge of construction industry practices, regulations, and standards.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.
Proficient in industry-standard software such as MS Excel, cost estimating, and project management tools.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to liaise with various stakeholders.
