We are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor with Social Housing Experience ideally, and will be looking for the following Skills and experience;

• Reviewing maintenance plans and preparing quantity requirements
• Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals
• Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors
• Assisting in establishing clients requirements and undertaking feasibility studies
• Preparing and analysing the cost of tender
• Analysing terms and conditions of the contract
• Predicting potential risks in the project and taking precautions to mitigate them
• Estimating and controlling the cost of large scale construction projects
• Ensuring that structures meet the necessary legal and quality standards
• Using technical measurement tools for accurate cost results
• Monitoring the cost during the whole construction of the building
• Salary will depend on experience.
