I am currently looking to recruit a Dry lining Quantity Surveyor with a Dry Lining/ internal fit out background for one of our respected contractors in the dry lining sector.
The role would suit a dynamic, young and driven Dry Lining Quantity Surveyor who is looking to progress through a well established company.
Our client is based around the Kent area specialising in Dry Lining and interior fitouts.

Responsibilities/Duties of a Dry Lining Quantity Surveyor
• Undertaking costing analysis, take-offs, and quantity schedules.
• Applications for payment.
• Identifying/ costing and negotiating variations.
• Attend meetings with clients and colleagues.
• Produce labour payment schedules.
• Process sub-contractor labour measures and payments.
• Final Account agreements/ retention release negotiations.
• Estimating/ pricing of tenders including full take-offs and producing bill of quantities.
• Liaising with senior management and directors.

Essential Qualifications for a Dry Lining Quantity Surveyor
• 2+ Years’ experience in a QS role.
• Knowledge of Drylining/ Interiors sector is essential
• Excellent IT skills, including proficiency with MS Excel.
• Full Driving Licence.
• A positive and proactive attitude.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• The ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organisational skills and time management.
• Communication skills, including the ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally.
• The ability to understand drawings and other contract documents.
• Strong maths knowledge.
• Analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to use your initiative.
