We are currently recruiting for a freelance Site Engineer to join a leading construction company on a large rail station and track monitoring project.

As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for setting out and surveying work, ensuring that all aspects of the project are completed to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities include;
• Undertaking surveys and setting out
• Monitoring and reporting on track conditions
• Liaising with stakeholders and ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in setting out and surveying work on rail projects. You should have a good understanding of relevant software such as AutoCAD and Total Station, as well as excellent communication, organisation and analytical skills.

In addition, you should have experience working in a fast-paced environment, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess a proactive and can-do attitude.

You should also hold a current PTS card and be able to provide references from previous rail projects.
