Are you a highly skilled Freelance Site Engineer with PTS looking for an exciting opportunity to set out and monitor track for a leading civil client? This is your chance!

Keyman Personnel, on behalf of a prominent civil client, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Freelance Site Engineer with a valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) qualification to join a dynamic team working on an ambitious track monitoring and setting out project.

The Opportunity:
As a Freelance Site Engineer with PTS, you will play an integral role in the successful delivery of this rail project, ensuring that work is carried out accurately and efficiently. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your skills and expertise in a challenging and rewarding environment with a top civil engineering company.

Key Responsibilities:
• Set out and monitor track alignment, levels, and gradients in line with project specifications and design requirements
• Conduct regular track monitoring and provide timely updates to the project team
• Ensure all surveying and setting out work adheres to industry standards and client requirements
• Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other team members to ensure efficient project delivery
• Maintain accurate site records, including as-built drawings and survey data
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety awareness on site

Qualifications & Experience:
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer, preferably within the rail or civil engineering sectors
• Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) qualification is essential
• A relevant industry qualification, such as a degree in civil engineering or a related field, is highly desirable
• Proficiency in the use of surveying equipment, such as total stations, GPS, and track monitoring tools
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
• Familiarity with rail industry standards, guidelines, and best practices
