This project encompasses a wide array of responsibilities including access, appearance, landscaping, layout, scale, car parking, servicing, and other associated works. A highlight of this project is its design using Building Information Modelling (BIM), alongside the development of associated infrastructure works and access roads.

Role Overview:
As a Freelance Site Engineer, you will be an integral part of the project team, ensuring the technical aspects of the project are executed to the highest standards. This role demands a detail-oriented professional who can efficiently manage multiple aspects of site engineering, from initial setup to the final handover of the project.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage all on-site engineering aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.
• Utilise BIM methodologies for the planning, execution, and management of construction tasks.
• Coordinate with the project team to ensure smooth implementation of access, landscaping, layout, and scale as per the approved plans.
• Ensure all construction works meet the required quality standards and statutory requirements.
• Monitor and document project progress, providing reports as necessary.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and other professional staff to resolve any technical issues promptly.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations on-site.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer, preferably within distribution centre projects or similar large-scale industrial schemes.
• Strong proficiency in Building Information Modelling (BIM) and relevant software.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly.
• Relevant engineering qualifications.
• CSCS card holder.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required by the project.
