Setting Out Engineer – Heavy Civils
Our client, a leading civils construction company, is currently seeking a Setting Out Engineer with a heavy civils background to join their team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in the heavy civils sector and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Undertake setting out and surveying of heavy civils projects on site, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Ensuring that all works are carried out to the required standards and specifications.
• Liaising with site management and subcontractors to coordinate project activities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and standards on site.
• Conducting quality control checks to maintain the highest levels of workmanship.
• Providing technical advice and support to the project team.
Key Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of previous experience working as a Setting Out Engineer
• Strong technical knowledge of setting out and surveying heavy civils structures and materials.
• Excellent communication and Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
