Job Description
Keyman Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a leading landscape contractor for an experienced Freelance Site Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of landscaping projects, ensuring that each is delivered to the highest standards.
Role Overview:
As a Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of landscaping projects, including setting out, quality control, and providing technical support on-site. You will work closely with the site management team, overseeing the engineering aspects of projects and ensuring they are completed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set out and survey landscaping works on-site, including grading, paving, drainage, and planting areas.
• Provide technical guidance to the site team, ensuring work is carried out according to design specifications.
• Conduct site measurements and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with the site management team to coordinate subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project progress, identifying and resolving any technical issues.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Prepare reports and documentation as required.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer within the landscaping or construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of setting out techniques and construction processes related to landscaping projects.
• Proficient in using surveying equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage site activities effectively.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with site teams and subcontractors.
• Relevant engineering qualifications and a valid CSCS card.
