Keyman Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a leading client for an experienced Site Engineer with foundations and piling experience to join their team on a freelance basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer to contribute to a variety of challenging projects.
Role Overview:
As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of foundation and piling works. You will be responsible for setting out, monitoring construction activities, and ensuring all works are completed to the highest standards. Applicants must have their own engineering kit and be experienced in managing the technical aspects of foundation and piling projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set out and oversee foundation and piling works on-site.
• Provide technical guidance to the site team, ensuring accuracy and quality of work.
• Conduct site surveys and measurements, maintaining detailed records.
• Liaise with site management and subcontractors to ensure construction activities meet project specifications and schedules.
• Monitor progress and resolve any technical issues that arise during the project.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Prepare reports and documentation as required.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer with a focus on foundations and piling.
• Must have own engineering kit.
• Strong knowledge of setting out techniques and construction processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage site activities efficiently.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with site teams and subcontractors.
• Relevant engineering qualifications and valid CSCS card.
