An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Highways Site Engineer to join our project team in Hampshire. We are looking for a professional with a strong background in groundwork, quality assurance (QA) checks, and drainage. This role is integral to our ongoing highway development project in Hampshire, offering a challenging and rewarding work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee groundwork's, drainage systems, and related activities within the highway project.
• Conduct comprehensive QA checks, ensuring all works meet the required standards and specifications.
• Manage the installation and maintenance of effective drainage solutions, addressing any site-specific challenges.
• Coordinate with various teams, including subcontractors and consultants, to ensure effective execution and communication.
• Enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols on-site.
• Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate site documentation, including compliance and project progress records.
Qualifications and Skills:
• A degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant field.
• Demonstrable experience in a similar role, particularly in groundworks, QA checks, and drainage within highway projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and project management software.
• Holder of a valid CSCS card.
• Full UK driving license.
