Our client is a very successful Civils and utilities Contractor who is currently recruiting a Site Manager on a long-term contract after winning some major projects.

As Site Manager you would have;
• Experience of being operationally and commercially aware within the utilities environment
• CSCS/EUSR and SMSTS holder
• Manual Handling
• HSG 47 - safe digging
• NRSWA Supervisor ticket

As a Site Manager your job will include;
• Checks that all CPP, RAMS, SSoW and Point of Work Risk Assessments (POWRAs) are fully understood
• Manage Health and safety - ensuring that it meets the standards of the client.
• Put people to work in line with the Utilities contract.
• Holds the Principal Contractor responsible where the company is appointed under the CDM Regulations
• Ensuring all SHEMS procedures are correctly implemented and complied with;
• Producing and maintaining the works information
• Coordinating the safe activities of everyone on site (e.g. subcontractors, designers, clients staff, etc.)
• Ensuring that reviewed and approved RAMS and permits are in place for all site activities
• Ensuring plant and equipment is inspected and maintained
• Ensuring welfare facilities are maintained for the entire duration of the works
• Ensuring a training matrix is maintained and competencies are kept up to date
• Ensuring adequate supervision is in place
• Discharging duties as set out in the Construction Phase Plan
