Our client, a leading construction company, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a new build project. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the construction site, ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the construction site, including managing the site team, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Monitor progress against the project schedule, making adjustments as necessary to ensure that deadlines are met.
• Manage health and safety on site, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with the project team, including the Quantity Surveyor and Design Manager, to ensure that the project is delivered to the required specifications.
Requirements:
• Relevant degree or equivalent in construction management or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Site Manager on new build projects.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
• CSCS card black/gold, SMSTS, and First Aid certificate.
