Our client specialises in commercial and industrial roofing and cladding, and they are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Site Supervisor to join their dynamic team.
Role Overview:
As a Freelance Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations on site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will be the key point of contact between the client, contractors, and the project management team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate roofing and cladding activities on site.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor project progress and report on performance against targets.
• Manage site resources, including labour, materials, and equipment.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on site.
• Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in the roofing and cladding industry.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
• Valid CSCS card and other relevant certifications (e.g., SMSTS, First Aid).
