Role Overview:
As a Structures Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the construction and maintenance of various structural projects, including bridges, tunnels, and retaining walls, within the highways sector. You will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. Your expertise will be pivotal in coordinating teams, managing resources, and liaising with stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction teams and subcontractors.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Oversee the installation and maintenance of structural elements, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor progress and quality.
• Resolve any on-site issues or challenges promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project timelines.
• Provide training and support to site personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the highways or civil engineering sector, with a focus on structures.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations related to structural projects.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
• A relevant qualification in civil engineering or a related field is desirable.
• CSCS Gold Supervisor Card/Black Managers Card
• SSSTS/SMSTS
• First Aid
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
