Keyman Personnel is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Supervisor on behalf of our leading client in the construction and infrastructure sector. This specialist role involves overseeing nighttime operations for a carriageway resurfacing project, including ironwork adjustments, road marking, and stud installation. This opportunity requires a diligent and dedicated professional with proven experience in managing similar resurfacing operations.

Role Overview:
As a Nighttime Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the overall management and success of the resurfacing operation during night shifts. This role demands a proactive approach to ensure that work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and supervise all nighttime operations related to carriageway resurfacing, including ironwork adjustments, road marking, and stud installation.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly focusing on the unique challenges of nighttime work.
• Manage and coordinate the activities of the site team, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient operation and project progress.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to mitigate risks associated with nighttime work.
• Maintain accurate records of work progress, incidents, and any deviations from the planned schedule.
• Communicate effectively with project managers and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues promptly.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Foreman, specifically in carriageway resurfacing and associated activities.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to construction and nighttime work.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams effectively under challenging conditions.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in high-pressure situations.
• CSCS card and any relevant qualifications related to construction supervision and safety.
• Willingness to work night shifts and flexibility to adapt to project needs.
