Keyman Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a leading client for an exciting opportunity to join their expanding team as a Technical Lead. We are seeking a highly skilled individual with a background in the Construction Industry, ideally with expertise in design and structural engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide Technical Expertise: Serve as the lead technical expert within the business, ensuring high standards in design and structural engineering.
• Sales Support: Work alongside the sales team during the pre-contract phase, providing expert technical advice and support to shape viable project solutions.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with external structural engineers and the project management team to streamline design and engineering processes, ensuring smooth project delivery.
• Client Interaction: Act as the primary technical contact for client design teams on large-scale projects, ensuring clear and accurate communication.

Key Skills/Requirements:
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in SolidWorks or similar 3D design software, with a strong foundation in 2D CAD (e.g., AutoCAD).
• Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction processes and design and structural engineering principles.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Innovative Thinking: Ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions to technical challenges.
• Decision Making: Quick and effective decision-making abilities, particularly under pressure.
• Commercial Awareness: Understanding of value engineering and the ability to optimise project costs without compromising quality.
• Flexibility: Willingness to travel to project sites as needed and adapt to varying work conditions.

Location:
