About the Company:
Keyman Personnel is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a respected client in the construction industry. Our client is known for their high-quality projects and commitment to safety and efficiency. They are seeking an experienced Freelance Telehandler to join their team on a project-by-project basis.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Freelance Telehandler to assist with the smooth operation of our client’s construction sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the telehandler to move materials, support site operations, and ensure all tasks are carried out safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operating the telehandler to transport materials around the construction site.
• Loading and unloading materials from delivery vehicles.
• Storing and securing materials in designated areas.
• Assisting with site logistics and ensuring a tidy work environment.
• Performing routine maintenance checks on the telehandler.
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborating with site managers and other team members to ensure smooth site operations.
• Reporting any issues or defects with the telehandler to the site manager.
Key Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Telehandler Operator in the construction industry.
• Valid CPCS or NPORS certification for telehandler operation.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent driving and manoeuvring skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic.
