Our History
Having started his career as a Site Engineer, Peter Flaherty founded Keyman in August 1978. Peter now known as a prolific investor and respected professional in the recruitment industry, not only because of Keyman but also through various extremely successful recruitment endeavours over the last 40 years. Jon Curry worked closely with Peter early in his career and was reunited with him when he joined Keyman as Managing Director in 2011.

As of October 2022, Peter has retired and sold his interest in Keyman Personnel to another one of his proteges and well-known recruitment entrepreneur, Affi Khan, CEO of our parent company Key Talent Solutions Ltd and Jon Curry continues to lead Keyman as Managing Director to build on this great legacy and take us further as we develop our business across the built environment.
